Duplex Ultrasound is a safe and painless test that examines your arteries and veins. The test is performed in our office and takes about 1 hour to complete. Duplex exams show our doctors how much plaque build-up is in your arteries and how your veins are functioning. It also detects blood clots and aneurysms. The results of your exam will be discussed with you by the ordering physician or one of Limb Preservation's doctors or nurses.
Duplex ultrasound exams at Limb Preservation are performed by Registered Vascular Technologists and interpreted by a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon.
